I live in Denton, Tameside, which lies to the east of Manchester.
Covering an area stretching from Stockport in the south to Oldham in the north, Manchester to the west and the High Peak in the east, Tameside features both flat lowlands rising sharply onto the edge of the Pennines. Whilst not quite 40 sq miles, Tameside supports a community of over 210,000.
I love travelling around the North West of England and North Wales and it is from these areas that I take most of my Landscape images. With an ongoing aspiration to continue pushing my photography boundaries, I love creating images which bring out the extraordinary in people, places and moments.
Someone asked me once if I only make Landscape images? Well, yes and no. Landscape images are my main enjoyment - I just love being outside viewing nature and the world around us. But there is another area I enjoy and that is portrait sessions and also event photojournalism, not in a commercial environment, but rather shooting events for charity as well as for a local free newspaper - I did mention I liked to support a community spirited approach didn't I?
As with all photographers I also do a few personal projects, and if you ask me nicely I may just make some of them available for you to view, but you have to ask nicely!
I make all my Landscape images freely available for you to download and use on your personal blog or as desktop wallpaper - but not for commercial use. If you want to find out more click here for some more information
If you wish to ask me anything I have not covered why not drop me an email.
